Directed by Nathan Rissman, the Sticky and Sweet is a dance odyssey in four high-energy movements, seeing Madonna at her most uncompromising. Sticky and Sweet explores Madonna’s individualistic vision of a dance tale segmented into Pimp, Old School, Gypsy and Rave; a fusion of Madonna’s extensive greatest hits and her latest studio album Hard Candy.

With Sticky and Sweet, Madonna is quite literally reasserting her claim to the title of the Queen of Pop; the performance has been described by promoters as a “rock driven dancetastic journey”. Madonna has modernized many classics, playing a moody black Gibson guitar on many of the tracks, and has provided a truly outrageous selection of video projections dealing with current global and political events.
