Hannah Montana, or to use her proper name, Miley Cyrus has become a international phenomenon.  As a teenage superstar she has taken the entertainment world completely by storm and is loved across the world.

Miley was born in the home of Country and Western music, Nashville, Tennessee on November 23rd 1992 as Destiny Hope Cyrus.  She was given the nickname Smiley because she smiled a lot and this became Miley.  Later on, she legally changed her name to Miley.

She is best known for portaying Hannah Montana in the TV show, she got her first acting job in her father’s TV show “Doc” as Kylie.

When she was twelve, she auditioned for the part of Hannah Montana and was told she was too tiny for the part!  However, later Disney had a change of heart and she was given the role.

Miley has a very strong southern accent, which she worked for a long time to get rid of.  Ironically, the producers of the TV series asked her to use a Southern accent for the show.

Miley has become a worldwide superstar over the last few years, with albums debuting at number one on the Billboard Top 200.  She has had scores of acting jobs, her own big screen movies and has developed a fanatical following across the planet.

If you know anyone aged between five and their mid teens will undoubtedly know of Hannah Montana and probably be fed up of hearing her songs.  Her fans are loyal and our daughter has her room decked out in Hannah Montana Merchandise as well as constantly singing her songs.  As a long term fan of heavy metal, I am mortified to say I know most of the Hannah Montana song lyrics to Best Of Both Worlds.

Back in 2007 Miley was ranked in the top 20 Forbes Superstar Under 25 Earners, and her wealth is growing on a daily basis.  With Hannah Montana song lyrics inspiring her fans and her merchandise emptying the wallets of their parents, she is set to do better and better.

We can all be certain that Miley Cyrus is not going to be disappearing any time soon.  With more albums, TV shows and movies scheduled, she will continue to increase her fan base over the next few years.

Hannah Montana appeals to such a broad audience that you can be sure she won't be disappearing any time soon.Through her TV shows and music, she is moving away from Hannah Montana and establishing Miley Cyrus as a serious musician.

The success of her movies have helped to bring her to the attention of even more people.From this, she has some millions of albums and become a household name.
