50 Blues Backing Tracks Review
Good quality guitar backing tracks can turn your practice sessions into full blown jams, and really give you the freedom to expand your playing… and have more fun doing it. You may be like me, and find yourself falling into the same tired patterns.
But every time I fire up a backing track, it feels like I’m playing with the band again… except it doesn’t smell as bad
The question I get asked alot… Is it any good?
I can attest that these tracks are really on the level.
I found these tracks last year and have been really happy since picking up a copy for myself. This was created a few years ago by Zack Roberts, a professional guitarist from New Jersey (home of Bruce Springsteen & Bon Jovi). Not midi programmed lameness here, these tracks were cut by the finest seasoned blues musicians around.
I won’t dive into too much detail because it seems like every time I check Zack has added a new bonus, so you can take a look for yourself.
There’s a lot of diversity among this collection, too. It dives into:
12 Bar Blues Grooves
Blues Slow Ballads
Jazzy Blues Shuffles
Cajun Blues
Blues In G Pentatonic, and many other scales
Zack has a Bachelor Degree from Berklee College of Music, and has been a regular contributor to Guitar Player, Guitar World and Acoustic Guitar Magazines, so he put this together with the idea of improving your playing. A funny thing happens, too, when you improvise more and more over these tracks. Your guitar prowess will improve steadily, and by the time you have your next gig or practice your skills will be rock solid! It makes it feel like you have been rehearsing with the whole band, and your playing will be more fluid.
What I like most in the 50 Blues tracks is the musical feel, great arrangement, and variety. Zack has really gone out of his way to make certain you feel as if you’re in the same room jamming out with a killer blues band.
Unlike a lot of free tracks you see out there, the quality of 50 Blues is top notch.
I’ve been very happy with these backing tracks for guitar, and so have My Guitar Guide readers. They have awarded four and a half stars out of five. I hope you can use them to take your guitar playing to the next level too, and I strongly recommend pick up this package if you want to improve your playing
