The Beatles Remastered Stereo Box Set

The Beatles classic albums were first digitally remastered for CD back in the late 80s at that time digital mastering was a relatively new art and since then a lot has been figured out about how to master more effectively but most important is the incredible rate in technological advance over the past 20 years.

I ordered both the stereo and mono box sets and if you have the cash, you should do the same. They both have their positives and negatives and in my opinion they are both legitimate versions of The Beatles amazing discography.

Each year people watch the American Music Awards to find out whether their favorite musical artists get the recognition the fans believe they deserve. American Music Award winners

In case you’re wondering who actually won at the American Music Awards, here’s the rundown of the big ones. Michael Jackson won four awards posthumously, winning Favorite Male Artist in pop/rock, and also for soul/rhythm and blues. His “Number Ones” compilation got both awards in those categories, as well.

The Black Eyed Peas won Favorite Band, Duo or Group in both of those categories. Rascal Flatts took that title in the country category. Jay-Z won all available titles in the rap/hip hop category, winning Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Album. Keith Urban won Favorite Male Artist for Country, and Beyonce won Favorite Female Artist for soul/R&B.

Taylor Swift had the biggest haul, taking home 5 awards including Favorite Female Artist for Pop/Rock, Country, and Adult Contemporary. She won Favorite Album in country for her album “Fearless” as well. And, of course, she won Artist of the Year.

Robert Peter “Robbie” Williams was born on the 13th of February, 1974. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, musician and record producer. As early as 16, he already started his career.

Their first album entitled “Everything Changes” spawned four United Kingdom number one singles – the title track “Everything Changes”, “Pray”, “Relight My Fire” and “Babe”. Everything Changes rocked the world and gained international success but not in United States of America. They did not penetrate the US market.

During the span of 1994, Take That have become big stars in both radio and television all over Europe and Asia. Their first ever world tour was granted in 1995. After that, they began to appear in front pages in various magazines like GQ and Smash Hits. In addition, they have been the faces of picture books, posters, stickers, doll, jewelry, caps, T-shirts, and even toothbrushes.

Sadly, in July 1995, Take That was split up because Williams was being deprived of inputting creativity to the group.
